About Pat Sambas

Pat and his family have proudly called Upper Arlington home for the past 17 years, and like so many residents, they have enjoyed the beauty, programs, and community spirit that make our parks some of the best neighborhood parks in Ohio. Pat is excited to help support this fundraiser, with proceeds going toward beautifying our beloved Upper Arlington parks.

As a certified PPR and DUPR coach and senior pro tournament pickleball player, Pat brings years of experience both competing and coaching. At Pickle & Chill, Pat conducted private lessons, clinics, and DUPR rating sessions, while also expanding pickleball opportunities right here in Upper Arlington, partnering with UA Parks & Rec and as the pickleball pro and coordinator for Swim & Racquet Club. Pickleball has given Pat so much, and he is passionate about giving back—not only to the pickleball community but also to the Upper Arlington community that he is grateful to call home. Learn more about UA Pickleball.
