About the Award

The Heart of UA award recognizes the cumulative philanthropic and volunteer efforts of an individual, family or family foundation over a period of five (5) or more years of exceptional generosity who, through direct financial support, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles in the community. Candidates will specifically demonstrate significant, long-term involvement with one or more Upper Arlington nonprofit organization. Prior winners of this prestigious award include: Tim and Glenda Huffman (2019), Mary Ann Krauss (2020), Sue Ralph (2022), and the Ness Family: Lynn and Bob, Emily and John (2023), and Kip Greenhill (2024).
