The Heart of UA is the Foundation's signature fundraising event to celebrate community, philanthropy, and the Heart of UA's annual award recipient(s). Funds raised from the Heart of UA enable the Foundation to make an impact in the community as grant maker, connector, and a home for philanthropy in UA.

About the Awards
The Heart of UA award recognizes the cumulative philanthropic and volunteer efforts of an individual, family or family foundation over a period of five (5) or more years of exceptional generosity who, through direct financial support, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles in the community. Candidates will specifically demonstrate significant, long-term involvement with one or more Upper Arlington nonprofit organization.

The Inaugural Changemaker Award recognizes someone who is actively driving positive change in Upper Arlington today. This honor celebrates someone who brings fresh perspective, energy, and initiative to the community—turning ideas into action and responding to emerging needs in meaningful ways. A Changemaker is not defined by years of service, but by impact: the ability to mobilize others, challenge the status quo, and help UA grow stronger, more connected, and more responsive to the moment we’re in.
