UA Neighbors Step Up After SNAP Reductions
Following recent reductions in SNAP benefits that left some Upper Arlington residents facing unexpected food challenges, the community quickly came together to help. Through the Upper Arlington Community Foundation’s Good Neighbor Fund (supported in partnership with UA CARES) grocery gift cards were distributed to households in need, helping ease the immediate burden.
Two rounds of support reached local families, demonstrating the power of neighbors helping neighbors. This collective response reflects a shared commitment to ensuring everyone in the community has access to basic needs during times of uncertainty.
