John O’Leary to Headline Fostering a Conversation Series

The Fostering a Conversation series is honored to welcome John O’Leary—burn survivor, bestselling author, and the real-life inspiration for the upcoming film Soul on Fire—to Upper Arlington High School on Tuesday, September 17.

Through his remarkable story and hard-earned wisdom, O’Leary challenges audiences to live with greater courage, joy, and purpose. His visit promises an unforgettable evening of inspiration and connection for the entire community.

Fostering a Conversation is a unique, student-led initiative that brings nationally recognized speakers to Upper Arlington, sparking dialogue across generations. Each year, Upper Arlington High School students select a dynamic speaker to engage both their peers during the school day and the broader community in the evening program.

This special event is presented in collaboration with Upper Arlington City Schools, the Upper Arlington Education Foundation & Alumni Association, the City of Upper Arlington, the Upper Arlington Public Library, and the Upper Arlington Community Foundation.
