We could not be happier that we had the privilege of awarding the Huffman Family with the first Heart of UA Award. This family exemplifies what this award is all about. Tim and Glenda, along with their children Ryan, Tony, and Melissa are constantly volunteering and contributing to community needs in Upper Arlington. They have become known around the city due to their generosity and participation in community events, activities, and programs.
This family organizes free community events, participates in established activities, and provides financial support for numerous philanthropic causes. You may recognize Tim and Glenda from holiday celebrations where they dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus or you may have seen Tim volunteering as an auctioneer for various fundraising events. The Huffmans are a family that find every opportunity to generously do good in our community.
Now, as we look ahead to 2020, we are excited to see who might be our next recipient of the Heart of UA Award.
