A timely grant and community support helped a UA mother stay housed and fed while caring for her son during a difficult transition.
The Foundation’s Good Neighbor Fund and Upper Arlington Bridges aided an Upper Arlington resident and her five-year-old son in a temporary employment transition. A grant by the Good Neighbor Fund helped with rent and utility expenses for one month, while a gift card from the Upper Arlington Neighborhood Bridges provided support for groceries. This combined assistance offered peace of mind in a crisis, enabling this mother to care for her child when he needed her the most.
