2025: $1,640 100 Years of the UA July 4 Parade

In celebration of America's 250th Anniversary and the 100th year of UA's iconic July 4 parade, the UA Historical Society will catalog and preserve parade archives to be treasured for generations.

Common Greens Farmers Market

2025: $1,210 Magic at the Markets-- Young Artists' Expression through Polaroids of our Community Farmers Market.

Each week, kids at the Market took instant Polaroid photos highlighting local food and market magic, culminating in a public photo exhibit celebrating their unique perspectives.

Foundation grants enhanced existing library spaces at Tremont and Lane Road Branches to expand its mission of play-based learning. These spaces engage children in their social and emotional development through peer interactions and create opportunities for children and families to establish new connections within their community.

Honoring Veterans on the Mallway

2020: $107,433 raised to build Veterans Plaza on the Mallway

A permanent place of reflection was created in the heart of the city, honoring those who served and strengthening shared history.

Celebrated UA’s Centennial

2018-2019: The Foundation secured $350,000 secured to create Centennial Plaza at Northam Park

Community support brought to life bronze bear sculptures celebrating Upper Arlington’s 100th anniversary, creating a landmark that anchors civic pride.

Arts and Culture Enhanced

2012:

Investment in Upper Arlington's cultural identity — stories, ideas, and public art. In partnership with the UA Public Library, the UA Author Series was launched, bringing nationally recognized authors including Anthony Doerr, Amor Towles, and Samin Nosrat to the community.

Sculptures Beautify UA

2012:

Public sculptures by Alfred Tibor were funded through the UA Arts Fund, enriching shared spaces.

Amelita Mirolo Barn

2011: $1M raised to restore and gift the Amelita Mirolo Barn to the city

As the first major community project, this effort demonstrated Upper Arlington’s ambition, reviving a historic landmark that now serves as a beloved hub for gatherings, celebrations, and public life. The Foundation raised $1M to restore and gift the Amelita Mirolo Barn to the city.
